Sydney Harbor

Its a little embarrassing that it has taken so long, but after four fast weeks in Australia, i finally made it down to Sydney Harbour to get a look at the bridge and opera house, along with a good meal.

Sydney Harbour Bridge
Aussie flags. If you look closely you can see some people doing the sydney bridge climb inbetween the flags. Definitely on the australia bucket list.
The Opera House!

Meanwhile in Australia....

Downtown Sydney.

Headed to bondi on sunday to check out a local market.  Turned out to be a just a bunch of hipsters selling vintage clothes and sunglasses.  Ended up just hanging out at the beach.  The surfers were out in full force.

Not bad for the dead of winter...
Cool graffiti

Rock Walk

We went down to the beach to play some beach volleyball but the nets werent set up so we decided to go for a long walk/hike/climb on the cliffs around Coogee to the headwall separating Coogee and Clovelly.  Took about two hours there and back and we found some pretty cool stuff along the way.

makeshift bridge we made to keep our shoes dry

The start. We went all the way to the farthest rocks off to the right, and the terrain was pretty much like this the entire way.

Getting closer...

Random weird tunnel we came across in the cliff face.  Yang was the only one brave enough to go in.  He went about 200 yards in with an iphone flashlight before turning around.  Surprisingly he did not encounter any mutant ninja turtles.  (the blue graffiti says "theres  no place like home" with an arrow pointing into the tunnel. kinda creepy.

More cool graffiti, "Another way to ride the system".

Noah walking the line.  The rocks started getting bigger...

Admitting defeat. Time to turn back.
Back to Coogee just in time for the sunset.

Good way to spend an afternoon.
