Spring Break Mega Post: One Fish Two Fish

Its been a while since a last posted but this one should make up for that.  This past week i was on spring break (yes spring break in september).  Me and 80 other abroad students took off on a trip up the coast of Australia from Brisbane to Cairns.  The pictures should tell the rest.

Australian National Zoo, home of Steve Irwin the Crocodile hunter, and absolute legend.
 Sleepy koalas
 RIP Steve

 Legend
Not even part of the zoo
 Croc
 Tasmanian devils
 Dingos

 funny legs

 red panda
 Croc show
Fraser Island - largest sand island in the world

 happy beach goers
Whitsunday islands.  Spent the day cruising around on these speed boats island hopping from white sand beach to whitesand beach, with some snorkeling in between.

Viewpoint.  The third most photographed spot in Australia.
The views were ok, i guess...

Koala resort on an island in the Whitsundays, where we spent three days, boating, snorkeling, hiking, swimming, golfing, and partying.

 not a bad lunch spot...
highest point on the island.  Resort is way down there. You can see the clearing of the golf course, as well as the pier and ship from earlier.
 Second highest point. Balancing rock.
 Time to leave.
Spent the rest of the day sailing on a 50 ft boat between islands, and eventually back to the mainland, after some swimming and more snorkeling.

Bungee jumping in Cairns. (picture is not me)

Amazing white water rafting on the Tully river in the rain forrests just outside of Cairns. So much fun.  A little more exciting than the last time was rafting in Colorado.
 Great Barrier Reef
Corona add...
 Life is good
more rain forrest, on a double decker bus.

The trip of a lifetime.
